For over 20 years, Mike has been responsible for the development of several thousand units of affordable housing including single-family homes and large-scale mixed-use/mixed-income projects along the Eastern Seaboard, including in the Hudson Valley.

Mike and his wife Erin live in Kingston.

A Woodstock resident, Stacy is a Certified Public Accountant with decades of experience supporting various for-profit and nonprofit organizations. In addition to overseeing the accounting functions of the KCLB, Stacy also works with the Treasurer to maintain internal controls, annual audit and financial reporting. Stacy has also served as Treasurer of the Woodstock Artists Association and Museum and Ravensbeard Wildlife Center.

Owen O’Connor

Construction Project Manager

Owen O’Connor brings tremendous construction experience and expertise to the KCLB. Prior to joining in 2020, Owen worked as a general contractor focused on super-energy-efficient residential construction. Before that he was the principal of a local home energy company, conducting home energy audits and doing insulation work and energy upgrades. A lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley, Owen lives in Kingston with his family.

Kyle has over five years of real estate analysis and project management experience, having overseen the origination of over $1 billion in investments in a variety of asset types across the country. In 2021 he received a Masters in Urban Planning degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where he focused on housing and alternative financing strategies.

Board Chair

Nate Hennagin is a Senior Legal Counsel at Amazon MGM Studios, where he represents and advises the studio on labor relations matters in all stages of development, production, and distribution of film and television. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School and George Washington University. With a passion for community action and historic preservation, Nate is honored to further the mission of the Kingston City Land Bank to help others realize the dream of home ownership, while also preserving and revitalizing Kingston’s historic character. He lives in Kingston with his wife, Rachel.

Aron Chilewich

Vice Chair

Aron is a writer and urban planner who lives in Kingston. He works as a project manager focused on multifamily housing at Neighborhood Restore, a nonprofit that stabilizes physically and financially distressed properties across New York City. He holds an MFA in Poetry from Brooklyn College and a Masters in Urban Planning from Harvard University. In his spare time, he mountain bikes, experiments with fermentation, and takes long walks throughout Kingston.

Bartek is the Director of Housing Initiatives for the City of Kingston. He is also a founding board member of the Kingston City Land Bank. Bartek has served as the Board Secretary for three years. In this capacity, he helps ensure that the organization’s activities live up to its mission to expand housing accessibility for Kingston’s citizens, and that its programs reach a diversity of households that are currently underrepresented among the city’s homeowners. Prior to joining the City of Kingston, Bartek was the lead account manager for two local marketing agencies. He also served on the German Marshall Fund’s Urban and Regional Policy team fostering transatlantic development initiatives for major U.S. and European cities. Bartek lives in Kingston with his wife and two young children, and is a native Polish speaker.

Innovator, Entrepreneur, Artist, and Professor creating vitality and viability for cities, artistic scenes and beyond. Deeply committed to the development of community, cities and creative places. Winner of multiple awards for innovation, leadership and creative output. A true original thinker grounded in the interaction between community, urban planning, education and the arts. Holderness is founder/CEO of 2FtD – a SAAS business for the entrepreneurial developer and the capital investment that supports them. She is also an award winning theatre director and innovator who developed and managed the successful University of Wisconsin Milwaukee BFA in Acting. Founder and Director of two celebrated Not-for- Profit Corporations. Two decades of program development, creative work, and project management delivering performance, education and projects that benefit cities, and the people that live in them. Venues include The Public Theatre, Lincoln Center, The Culture Project NY, Burning Coal, NC and Spooky Action in DC. Zelda Fichandler Award winner. Alum Vassar College and Columbia University.

Ethel Knox

Ethel Knox

Compassion and serving others brings Ethel much joy and purpose. Ethel pastors a multi-cultural, non-denominational Church in the City of Kingston. She holds a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a concentration in Human Services, and a minor in black studies from SUNY New Paltz. She also holds a Masters Degree in Theology. Ethel has been employed by Greystone Programs, Inc. for 25 years as an Assistant Director of Residential, in which she has participated in the vision and mission statement development of the organization, as well as the yearly strategic planning.

Joanna Dorman

Joanna Dorman

Joanna Dorman has been working in early childhood education for the past 9 years. She is currently a nursery class teacher and parent educator at the Acorn Waldorf School, a forest early childhood program in Accord, NY. She is involved in the Neighboring Tree Project, an initiative started by teachers at the Acorn School to bring forest education and access to nature to the public schools of Kingston through mentoring visits and teacher education. Through this work, she has had the opportunity to work directly with preschool and kindergarten teachers and hundreds of children throughout Kingston. After studying the Great Books at St. John’s College, she graduated from Fordham University with a BA in Philosophy. Joanna also holds a New York State license in Massage Therapy.  As someone with a passion for community building and the belief in accessibility for all, she is excited to deepen and expand this work with the KCLB.

Barbara Ioannidis

Barbara Ioannidis

Barbara Ioannidis has spent over a decade working in real estate development representing owner/developers in both the public and private sectors across a variety of assets. She has extensive experience in lease administration, asset management, client relationships, and development and construction. She currently works as the Director, Asset Management for a private family office based out of NYC and has lived in Kingston since December 2020. She holds her Master’s of Urban Planning from the NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and her BA from Johns Hopkins University. Barbara is passionate about adaptive reuse of land, the intersection of the built environment and technology, and community equity. She is excited to apply her skills and experience to help KCLB’s growth and impact in Kingston.

Mayor, City of Kingston and Ex-Officio Member

Mayor Steve Noble was born and raised in the City of Kingston. He attended the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry, graduating with a degree in Environmental Science in 2004. He then returned to Kingston and began his ten year career at the City of Kingston’s Parks and Recreation Department, serving as an Environmental Educator and then as an Environmental Operations Specialist. During his tenure with the department, he secured millions of dollars in grant funding to implement single stream recycling in Kingston, to support infrastructure and transportation projects, and to develop and sustain innovative youth programming, including the area’s premier environmental education programs. Steve left the department when he was elected Mayor of Kingston and began his term on January 1, 2016, with the commitment of building an open and accessible form of government, one that is based on the principles of professionalism, respect, and inclusiveness. Steve’s commitment to public service extends beyond his career with the City of Kingston; he has held leadership positions with the Ulster County Resource Recovery Agency, Environmental Management Council, and the Hudson River Estuary Management Committee, and is the co-founder of the Kingston Land Trust.
