The Kingston City Land Bank (“KCLB”) is pleased to announce a public Request for Proposals (“RFP”) for architectural services. Successful respondents will help design; produce construction specifications and drawings; and supervise construction of the final two homes in the KCLB’s PILOT program. The properties are located at 149 Greenkill Avenue and 124 Franklin Street in Kingston.

Responses are due June 24 and interested parties may download the RFP HERE. Site walkthroughs will be conducted on June 15 and June 16.

“We are excited to work with the architectural community to preserve these homes,” said Mike Gilliard, Executive Director of the KLCB. “Join our efforts to provide a City for All and continue our commitment to provide well-designed, safe, decent and affordable homeownership opportunities in our City!”

The KCLB PILOT Program was launched in 2020 as a proof-of-concept that a local, community-driven and volunteer-based initiative can do it better. Our first 3 homes in this PILOT are currently for sale.

The KCLB is committed to a policy of equal opportunity in all its activities and programs including employment and promotion. It does not discriminate or promote on the basis of race, color, nationality, ethnic origin, citizenship status religion, sex, sexual orientation, age, physical handicap, veteran, or marital status. Women and persons of color are encouraged to apply.
